Acrylic on Canvas | 24 x 18 in.
This acrylic painting is one of the pieces I made for a painting class I was taking while studying abroad in Florence, Italy. For this assignment, we were asked to choose an interior that we had seen while in Italy, and paint it from a photograph that we took. I chose a room that I saw while we were visiting the Vatican Museum in Rome. I loved the architecture of this room, as well as the statues that were in it and the relatively monochromatic coloring. I was never able to finish this painting however, but feel that it is still important to my artistic portfolio and contributes a fragment of what my skill level with acrylic was at this point in time.
