During the second semester of my junior year at UVM, I took an acrylic painting class that focused on observation and image. Over the course of the semester, we created a handful of small-scale paintings on paper, but we also did two large-scale paintings on canvases that we built ourselves in the wood shop. This painting is the first of my two large pieces for this class.
